Every generation spends a transparent number of credits, shown on the button before you click — so there are never surprise charges. Starter includes 1,000 credits/month (~50 thumbnails at 20 credits each), Creator 3,000 (~150), and Ultimate 9,000 (~450). Annual plans add a 15% bonus on top.

Generations pause until your allowance resets at the start of the next billing period. Need more before then? Buy a credit pack any time from the in-app billing screen, or upgrade to a larger plan — either takes effect immediately.

Monthly plan credits refresh each billing period and don’t stack up month to month, so they’re there to be used. Credits from a one-off credit pack are added to your balance and stay until you spend them.

Yes to all three. Top up with a credit pack any time from the in-app billing screen, upgrade for a larger allowance (effective immediately, prorated), or cancel from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and you keep access until then. No emails or support tickets required.

Yes. New subscribers get a 14-day satisfaction window for a full refund (provided you’ve consumed under 20% of your credits). Unused credit packs are fully refundable within 7 days. Duplicate charges and outages over 24 hours are always refunded — see our Refund Policy for the full terms.

Paddle (our payment processor) handles all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Local methods like iDEAL, SEPA, and others appear automatically based on your billing country, and Paddle handles VAT/sales tax for you on every invoice.

Any VAT or sales tax required for your country is calculated and shown at checkout by Paddle, our merchant of record. You’ll get a proper itemised invoice by email for every payment, and you can add a business name or VAT ID at checkout.

Everything you’ve already generated stays yours — download it any time. After cancellation you keep full access until the end of the period you’ve paid for; once it lapses, the AI tools pause but your account and history remain so you can resubscribe and pick up where you left off.

Yes. Connect your YouTube channel and open the Optimize view to pull in your real videos. Connecting your channel and browsing videos is free; running the AI tools uses credits on a paid plan.

Yes. Once your channel is connected, you can push a new thumbnail straight to any of your videos from the Optimize view — no downloading, re-uploading, or leaving the app. You can always revert to your previous thumbnail on YouTube if you change your mind.

Yes — thumbnail A/B testing lives inside the Optimize view for connected channels, so you can compare variants and let the data pick the winner instead of guessing which one gets more clicks.

Yes. You connect through Google’s official, secure authorization flow, Clixa only requests the access it needs to read your videos and update thumbnails on your behalf, and you can disconnect at any time from your settings. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

Yes — every thumbnail you generate is yours to download in YouTube-ready resolution and use on the channels you run. Generated thumbnails are royalty-free for your channels, subject to our Terms and the rights guidance for any reference images you uploaded.

Yes. You own the thumbnails you generate and can use them commercially on your own channels and content. The only limits are the ones in our Terms of Service — chiefly that you must have the rights to any reference images you upload.

References and photos you own or have rights to — your own product shots, b-roll, brand art, or portraits of yourself. Uploading content that impersonates another person or infringes third-party rights isn’t permitted under our Terms of Service.

Your account, uploads, and generations are private to you and are never sold. We use your data only to run and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Payment details are handled entirely by Paddle — Clixa never sees or stores your full card number.

The goal is the opposite: clean, high-contrast, scroll-stopping thumbnails that look professionally designed — not generic AI art. You steer the result with prompts, references, and saved styles, and the Analyzer flags anything that reads as weak or off-brand before you publish.

You’re not charged for work that doesn’t complete — if a generation errors out, the credits are automatically returned to your balance. Just try again, and if something keeps failing, email us and we’ll make it right.

Clixa runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox — on desktop and mobile, with nothing to install. A larger screen is nicest for detailed editing, but you can generate, score, and publish from your phone.

You can request account deletion from your account settings, or by emailing support@clixa.app. We’ll remove your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy; note that active subscriptions should be cancelled first so you aren’t billed again.
